Summerfest – let the celebrations begin!
Brand new festival launches on the 2nd and 3rd July at Loch Lomond Shores
Summer 2022 marks the 20th birthday of Loch Lomond Shores so we’re celebrating in style with a brand-new FREE festival called Summerfest on the 2nd and 3rd July from 10am to 5pm!
Summerfest will have live entertainment, children’s rides, stalls, and street food, with special performances and appearances by Encanto’s Mirabel and Isabela on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
Our entertainment stage will be compered by Cassi from Radio Clyde and feature lots of great local singers and dancers including Boogie Box Jive, Margaret Rose School of Dance and the very talented Erin Ponsonby.
Stalls will include everything from fresh, local fresh produce to gifts including, Chulo’s Bakes stuffed cookies, Ann Davidson Butchers, and Tipsy House Candles
For hot food takeaway, we’ll have lots of mouth-watering options including Arran Hog Roast and Wild Venison, famous for their amazing burgers.
We can also exclusively reveal that we will have the one and only Navid’s truck from ‘Still Game’ selling bottles of Jack & Victor’s limited Edition Scotch Whisky, blended and bottled at our own local Loch Lomond Distillery.
Face painters, balloon modelling, and even have some Disney princesses will be on hand to entertain younger visitors on both days of the festival.
Audrey Calder from Loch Lomond Shores comments: “Everyone is welcome to come along and help us celebrate our 20th birthday in style. And with all the entertainment, including the FREE Incanto show, we’ve tried to make it an affordable day out for everyone.”
As well as all the great things to see and do at the festival, you can make a day of it by visiting our stores for some summer shopping, enjoy a visit to SEA LIFE, have an aerial adventure at Treezone, take in a flying show at the Bird of Prey Centre, enjoy a pedal boat ride with Loch Lomond Leisure or simply enjoy our stunning views!
