The small historic village of Crianlarich is situated in Glen Strathfillan to the north of the Trossachs, approximately eight miles north of the head of Loch Lomond.
It's an important cross-roads and connection point in various transport routes which link central and north western Scotland. The West Highland Way long-distance walking route also passes through here.
The village offers a number of visitor services including a range of self catering and holiday cottage accommodation, a hotel and tea-room. Nearby Glen Fallon attracts several walkers wishing to tackle the steep-sided hills.
