Matthew Jukes Exclusive Wine Dinner at Loch Lomond Arms

WINE TASTING DINNER with wine expert Matthew Jukes, Friday 29th January 2016, 7pm onwards at the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, Luss.

Tickets £75 per person.

The hotel is launching a series of wine tasting dinners and Head Chef Allan McLaughlin has designed a bespoke six-course tasting menu, with a champagne reception, alongside wine expert Matthew Jukes. Matthew will be on hand throughout the evening to guide guests through each wine and food pairing.

Dinner plus accommodation starts at £100 per person (based on two guests sharing a room).

The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel is set within the picturesque village of Luss, within the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

Chargrilled Beef dripping sourdough with melting bone marrow & mushroom ketchup & 2013 Pinot Gris, Réserve, Cave de Hunawihr, Alsace, France

Intermediate

“Luss Particular” soup with poached duck egg & 2014 Wally, Sauvignon du Val de Loire, Caves de la Loire, France

Fish

Pastrami of Argyll salmon with homemade sauerkraut, walnut loaf & tarragon mustard & 2014 Dandelion Vineyards, Enchanted Garden Riesling, Eden Valley, South Australia

Meat

Slow-roast loin of Luss venison, Jerusalem artichoke, smoked potato & hispi cabbage & 2011 Barolo, Massolino, Piemonte, Italy

Cheese

Barwhey Cheddar cheese with Camstradden Apple jelly & 2014 Trinity Hill, Syrah, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand

Dessert
