Argyll Sea Kayak Trail Business Presentation

15:00 - 17:00

This event at The Victoria Halls, Helensburgh, on Tuesay 30 June at 3pm offers a presentation to any businesses or community groups with an interest in learning more about the opportunities offered by the new Argyll Sea Kayak Trail and its infrastructure.

This is specifically aimed at businesses, clubs and community groups around Argyll.

During the presentation, which will last a maximum of 2 hours, you will learn about the Argyll Sea Kayak Trail, how it could be of benefit to your business, how communities can become involved, benefits and developments for new or existing paddle sport clubs, as well as an opportunity to ask questions.

Some of the potential benefits available would be inclusion on the Paddle Argyll website, developing a tourism package based on the Trail, and advertising services to watersports users through tourism websites. We will also look at the pathways available within paddle sports.

If you wish to attend the event please email or call 01631 566 080 to confirm your attendance. Please feel free to forward this information to anyone you think may be interested in attending.

The trail runs from Ganavan beach north of Oban and finishes at Helensburgh passing many villages and lots of tourism businesses that can offer meals, overnight stops, equipment, provisions and much more – these events will help you find out how to make your services known to the paddlesporters and also what you might consider doing to make your business paddlesport-friendly!

When the trail was launched last summer many experienced kayakers took part in a relay from start to finish and which connected in with the Commonwealth Flotilla – everyone enthused about what the trail now offers kayakers: the chance to explore some of the best sea kayaking waters in Europe!
