Sugar Boat Lunch Club Demonstrations - Helensburgh - Next Date Tuesday 11 September 2018.
The Sugar Boat lunch club demos have been very popular: a series of relaxed and informal cookery demonstrations in the restaurant given by Head Chef Scott, followed by a lunch based on what's been demonstrated. The format is relaxed and fun….arrive around 10.30ish for coffee and a slice of cake and then Scott will take you through to the restaurant where he’ll hold an hour-long demo. You’ll be able to get up close, ask questions and taste as you go and if you so feel, take some snaps too. No need to make notes though as the restaurant will email you a full recipe card after the event.
Ridiculously priced at £19.50pp all in. Call 01436 647522 to book your space.
The Balcony Bar & Grill Restaurant, Loch Lomond Shores
The new Balcony Bar and Grill (formerly the Kilted Skirlie) is now open at Loch Lomond Shores.
A family restaurant and bar run by the Burch family, owners Stuart and Jen are delighted to be opening their second restaurant in a unique spot at Loch Lomond Shores. They have run the much loved Drymen Inn since 2015 which has grown from strength to strength and have received rave reviews for their home made delicious meals, live entertainment and consistent warm and friendly hospitality.
The Shore, Loch Lomond
Stunning new wedding, spa and dining venue, The Shore Loch Lomond, also at Balloch, opened its doors in April.
In Balmaha, St Mocha was launched in 2014 by brothers Stuart and David Fraser, who are also partners in the family business The Oak Tree Inn.
Many visitors have commented positively about the artisan coffee served, but it was only a matter of time before Stuart and David would introduce their own coffee range.
At the end of 2017, Loch Lomond Coffee Co. was launched, with a specialist roasting facility and equipment.
As well as serving in the coffee shops, bags of coffee are also for sale, both in St Mocha and on the Loch Lomond Coffee Co. website.
The new coffee has been very well received by visitors and locals.
