Nature-based Tourism Ideas for Visitors: Download a Factsheet

The beauty and diversity of landscapes are at the heart of the tourist appeal of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and the Clyde Sea Lochs.

With this in mind, Friends of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs recently launched a new eco-tourism initiative, covering the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and the Clyde Sea Lochs area. The initiative, which covers workshops and factsheets for businesses, is part of the Collaborating for Success programme coordinated by Love Loch Lomond working jointly with the Friends of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs and Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority.

New nature-based factsheets developed by the project highlight the importance of Loch Lomond Trossachs and Clyde Sealochs landscapes to the wider national park area and aim to help tourism businesses capitalise on the outstanding natural resources and the potential of nature based tourism; right on their doorstep.
