Five Star Loch Lomond Visitor Destination Continues to Grow

The countdown is on as retail complex and 5 Star visitor attraction Loch Lomond Shores gets ready to unveil a series of new developments which are sure to have even more shoppers and day trippers flocking to the loch-side.

Over the next few weeks a new purpose built pirate themed soft play zone and cafe, Lomond Pirates, will open on the panoramic upper level of the shopping mall, catering for childrens’ birthday parties as well as for families looking for a relaxed atmosphere and fresh home-baking throughout the year.

This new family-focused attraction with its homely kitchen cafe and pirate ball pool now takes the the shopping mall to 100% let capacity and this is just the start of exciting new plans to enhance the visitor experience at Loch Lomond Shores.

A brand new Marston’s Inn, providing great value hotel accommodation, is in the process of being built at the entrance to the Loch Lomond Shores site, due to be open in early 2015. The construction of a high line adventure ropes course, just behind the Gateway Centre, will also get underway in the coming months.

These new developments, together with the recently opened Wee Heilan Man adventure golf course, the Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre, a new pontoon offering loch cruises from Sweeney’s Cruises and brand new activities from Can You Experience, including quadricycle and electric Twizy car hire, have all contributed to a series of top rate visitor reviews this summer.

The Gateway Centre, now temporarily closed to the public, is also undergoing a sleek and customer- focused refurbishment, with the aim of being a brand new visitor experience when it reopens.

Loch Lomond Shores continues to demonstrate its five star rating and commitment to being a world-class destination to the visitor market, locals and regular visitors alike; offering an unrivalled visitor experience time and time again. With this in mind the attraction has just introduced a fitting new tag line which will be used in its communications, ‘Close to home, far from ordinary’.
