  • About
  • Facilities

Since being taken over by the McMillan family in 2014, the Dumbuck House Hotel has benefitted from a major investment which in 2016 saw it earn a top spot in a prestigious UK-wide survey to find the Most Improved Hotel in the country.

In addition, the restaurant was recently rated 28/30 by renowned food critic Tam Cowan writing in The Sun.

The McMillan family's improvements to date include the addition of three luxury family suites of 200 sq ft each; a new courtyard and the all-new Dumbuck Bar & Grill kitted out in a coach house style in keeping with the building's proud 18th century history.

Located just 20 minutes from the heart of Glasgow in Dumbarton, our family-run 18th century house hotel boasts two flexible function spaces which can cater for the most intimate of ceremonies to the grandest of events with ease.

In addition, our collection of 20 welcoming en-suite bedrooms provide the perfect opportunity to accommodate guests overnight or to hire the entire house for your special day or weekend.
