Two award winning, luxury environmentally sustainable cottages at East Cambusmoon Farm, Gartocharn. The Old Dairy has one double and one twin room with a large family bathroom and an additional en suite. The open plan kitchen/dining and sitting room has a full one and a half storey height ceiling and large windows which make it wonderfully bright and airy.

Curlew Cottage has 4 large bedrooms, two which have double beds and two which have twin beds; in this cottage there is a family bathroom with double ended bath and separate shower plus two additional en suite shower rooms. The ground floor of Curlew is extensive with plenty of room for the whole family to relax, dine and cook together whilst still having lots of space to 'do your own thing'. Both cottages have under floor heating and wood burning stoves and we do not charge extra for any fuel including logs, they have been built to very high standards of comfort.

The heat and power for the cottages are generated from on site renewable energy sources - ground source heat pump, solar thermal and PV; combined with their sustainable design, high insulation and air tightness these are very comfortable places to stay all year round.

Extra Information

From the door of the cottage you can walk down to the Loch via the village of Gartocharn or, from the end of our driveway, walk up a small hill locally known as The Dumpling which offers one of the best views of Loch Lomond and the hills to the north. For younger family visitors we can loan you travel cots, high chair and/or booster seat plus other children 'kit' to help lighten the load when you are packing for holiday.

We like to leave a basket of age appropriate games, books and DVDs and children are welcome to play in the field next to the cottage. There are lots of family activities and attractions in the area and we have extensive and up to date visitor information in both cottages. For those with less mobility or who use a wheelchair both cottages have access ramps from the car parking area, some bedrooms are on the ground floor andthere is a ground floor bathroom in each cottage. Please discuss your particular requirements before booking.

Booking Information

Before booking please telephone 07905093997 or email cottages@eastcambusmoon.com to confirm that your preferred dates are available. Bookings shall be confirmed on receipt of the booking form and a 25% deposit with final payment due 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday or short break. Short breaks are available outwith peak season and can be offered at the weekend or midweek. Please enquire for details. Dogs are permitted subject to agreement.
